State of the Union ist eine US-amerikanische Future-Pop-Band um den Sänger Johann Sebastian aus Los Angeles in Kalifornien. Industriell angehauchte Popmusik für alle, die auf gute Melodien und tiefgebende Texte stehen. Melodiös und tanzbar, bis melancholisch und verspielt. Ihr aktuelles Album „Indupop“ erschien im November 2018. Futurepop trifft auf Electro und kreiert einen ganz industriellen Pop-Sound: „Indupop“.
